I love introducing a pretty stone to some wire and watching what happens!  I find wrapping semi-precious stones in copper or sterling silver wire very relaxing.  I usually have a general idea of what I'd like the finished piece to look like, but more often than not, the gentle coaxing of copper or silver wire becomes an adventure, and the result a pleasant surprise.  I've been wrapped up in wire since 2017, and when I'm not playing with paint, I enjoy taking out my box of lovely stones and getting lost in a new design.
